Breast Cancer is something that has effected all of us in one was shape or form. In honor of #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth we compiled some of the best medical marijuana strains that help with the side effects of chemo therapy for cancer treatment.

Good Pain Relieving Strains (Think Indica. Strains mixed with CBD are great for pain relief as well.

  • Blackberry Kush- (Indica) Use this one before bed.

  • ACDC- (THC/CBD Strain)- Hybrid

  • Harlequin(THC CBD Strain)- This is a sativa so this one is a good one to use during the day and you won’t get tired.

Nausea and Vomiting

  • Super Lemon Haze. (Sativa) If you need to get up and around, this sativa is worth a try. It gives you the energy and takes away nausea.** this is one of my favorite strains. Good one for the giggles too**

  • Northern Lights. (Indica)  If you prefer to relax, this indica will help you rest while eradicating your nausea. ( This one is def a night time one)

  • Blueberry Diesel. A hybrid that is the best of both worlds — it doesn’t push your energy and doesn’t make you sleepy.

Strains to help with appetite

  • Grand Daddy Purple. A classic indica with a high THC content, this fruity strain will spur your appetite on.

  • Skywalker OG. If you want to avoid the sleepy side effects, this hybrid can help.

  • Bubba Kush- This one will make you hungry and sleepy

Good Strains to help with fatigue (Energy boost or Sleep)

  • Strawberry Cough. This hybrid is the kickstart you need. You’ll feel an instant boost to your energy level. (Energy Boost)
